About this statute

The WAGP Authority may perform assigned treaty functions, monitor company compliance with WAGP Regulations, and exercise powers given under those Regulations. The Company, Ghana, a buyer, a seller and a shipper must comply with the Treaty, this Act, and regulations made under it. The Government must provide funds to the WAGP Authority when those funds are required under the WAGP Treaty and the International Project Agreement and needed to support the Authority’s activities. The Company may carry out the West African Gas Pipeline Project, but only subject to the Constitution and this Act. The Company must register as an external company.
