GHANA INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FUND Act 1130 (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025 ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS Section 1. Section 5 of Act 877 amended 2. Section 6 of Act 877 amended 3. Section 33 of Act 877 amended Act 1130 REPUBLIC OF GHANA The One Thousand one hundred and thirtieth ACT OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA ENTITLED GHANA INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025 AN ACT to amend the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund Act, 2014 (Act 877) to remove the Annual Budget Funding Amount as a source of funding for the Fund. Date of Assent: 2nd April, 2025 'PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President Section 5 of Act 877 amended 1. The Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund Act, 2014 (Act 877), referred to in this Act as the “principal enactment”, is amended by the substitution for section 5, of "Sources of money for the Fund 5. The sources of money for the Fund are (i) repayment inflows of moneys on-lent by the Ministry responsible for Finance to 2 Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (Amendment) Act, 2025 Act 1130 Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government or State-owned Enterprises for capital projects or infrastructure development; (b) grants, donations, gifts and other voluntary contributions to the Fund; (c) internally generated funds; (d) moneys that accrue to the Fund from investments made by the Fund; (e) moneys borrowed or raised from local and international capital markets or from the affiliates of the Fund; (f) moneys that may become lawfully payable to the Fund; (g) property that may become lawfully vested in the Board for the Fund; and (h) any other moneys approved by Parliament for payment into the Fund.”. Section 6 of Act 877 amended 2. The principal enactment is amended by the substitution for section 6, of “Bank account of the Fund 6. Moneys for the Fund shall vest in the Board and shall be paid into a bank account opened for the purpose by the Board with the approval of the Minister. ”. Section 33 of Act 877 amended 3. The principal enactment is amended in section 33 by the deletion of the definition for “Annual Budget Funding Amount”.
