C.K. TEDAM UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED SCIENCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025 Act 1161 ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS Section 1. Act 1000 amended 2. Consequential amendment Act 1161 REPUBLIC OF GHANA THE ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIRST ACT OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA ENTITLED C.K. TEDAM UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED SCIENCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025 AN ACT to amend the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences Act, 2019 (Act 1000) to change the name of the University to the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo and to provide for related matters. DATE of ASSENT: 24* December, 2025. PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President: Act 1000 amended 1. The C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences Act, 2019 (Act 1000) is amended (a) by the substitution for the short title, of “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo Act, 2019 (Act 1000)”; 2 C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2025 Act 1161 (b) in the long title, by the substitution for “C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences”, of “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo”; (c) in the heading of section 1 and in section 1, by the substitution for “C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences”, of “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo”; (d) in subsection (2) of section 39, by the substitution for “C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences Appeals Board”, of “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo Appeals Board”; (e) in section 40, by the substitution for the definition for (i) “Appeals Board”, of ““Appeals Board” means the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo Appeals Board established under subsection (2) of section 39;” and (ii) “University”, of ““University” means the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo established under section 1.”; and (f) in the Schedule, by the substitution for “C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences”, of “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo”. 3 Act 1161 C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2025 Consequential amendment 2. A reference in any other enactment to “C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences” shall be construed as a reference to “University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo”. Date of Gazette notification: 24th December, 2025.
