I, ALAN DILLON, Minister of State at the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 26 of 2022) (as adapted by the Environment, Climate and Communications (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 235 of 2025 )) and the Climate, Energy and the Environment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 257 of 2025 ), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (Section 7) (Commencement) Order 2026. 2. The 26 day of January 2026 is appointed as the day on which section 7 of the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 26 of 2022) shall come into operation.
