THE RAILWAYS (MODIFICATION OF SERVICE) (BUNCRANA AND CARNDONAGH LINE) ORDER, 1932. THE RAILWAYS (MODIFICATION OF SERVICE) (BUNCRANA AND CARNDONAGH LINE) ORDER, 1932, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 7 of THE RAILWAYS (MISCELLANEOUS) ACT, 1932 WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 7 of the Railways (Miscellaneous) Act, 1932 , that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by order made on the application of a company owning a railway line to which Part II of the said Act applies, relieve such company from any obligation imposed on such company by or under that Act of running a particular service of trains over such railway line, and, in lieu thereof, shall by such order impose on such company the obligation of running over such railway line the modified service of trains specified in such order : AND WHEREAS Part II of the said Act applies to the railway line between Buncrana and Carndonagh. AND WHEREAS the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company, being the owner of the said Railway line, has applied to the Minister for Industry and Commerce for an order under Section 7 of the said Act in respect of the said railway line : AND WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce is satisfied that having regard to the alternative transport facilities which are or will be available in the district served by the said railway line, no undue inconvenience will be occasioned by this order to the public in such district : NOW THEREFORE the Minister for Industry and Commerce in the exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Railways (Miscellaneous) Act, 1932 , and of all other powers him in this behalf enabling does hereby order : 1. The Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company is hereby relieved from the obligation imposed upon it by or under Section 6 of the said Act in respect of the running of trains over the railway line between Buncrana and Carndonagh, and in lieu thereof it shall be obligatory for the Company to run over such line the following modified service of trains :— Two mixed trains for the carriage of passengers and merchandise each way between Buncrana and Carndonagh daily on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively, and one mixed train for the carriage of passengers and merchandise each way between Buncrana and Carndonagh daily on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays respectively. A mixed train for the conveyance of passengers and merchandise each way between Buncrana and Carndonagh on Carndonagh Fair days. A mixed train for the carriage of passengers and merchandise each way between Buncrana and Ballyliffin on Thursdays and Saturdays respectively in the months of July and August only. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of November, 1932. 3. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Railways (Modification of Service) (Buncrana and Carndonagh Line) Order, 1932.
