These Regulations may be cited as the Oifig An Ard-Chláraitheora (Hours of Business) Regulations, 1985. 2. In these Regulations "public holiday" means— ) any day which is a public holiday for the purposes of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1973 (no. 25 of 1973), ) if Christmas Day falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, the day following St. Stephen's Day, ) if Christmas Day falls on a Thursday, the following Monday, ) if Christmas Day falls on a Friday, the following Monday and Tuesday, ) if Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, the following Tuesday and Wednesday, ) if Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, the following Wednesday, ) if the 1st day of January falls on a Saturday, the following Monday, ) if St. Patrick's Day falls on a Saturday, the following Monday, ) Good Friday, ) the Tuesday following Easter Monday. (i) any day which is a public holiday, in which case the Office will be closed, and 4. The Oifig An Ard-Chláraitheora (Hours of Business) Regulations, 1974 ( S.I.
