Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (No. 2) Order, 1985.

S.I. No. 434 of 1985. I, JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (1) of the (No. 15 of 1963), and the Minister and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 40 of 1983), hereby order as follows: (2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1986. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 23 day of December, 1985. JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Communications. EXPLANATORY NOTE. Article 24 of the Protocol amending the Eurocontrol International Convention reads as follows:— "By reason of its own social security scheme, the Organisation, the Director General and staff of the Organisation shall be exempt from all compulsory contributions to national social security bodies, without prejudice to arrangements between the Organisation and Contracting Parties existing at the entry into force of the Protocol opened for signature at Brussels in 1981".
