These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amending) Regulations (No. 2), 1933. 2. In these Regulations the expression " The Principal Regulations " means the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1931. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 4. Article 7 of the Principal Regulations is hereby amended by the deletion of paragraph (4) thereof and the substitution therefor of a new paragraph as follows:— "(4) Notwithstanding anything in paragraph (1) of this Article: ) standard cases No. 3 or No. 3 (Large), as specified in the said Schedule, which have been used for the purposes of preserving eggs by means of cold storage may be used again for the export of such eggs provided that such cases are well seasoned, clean, dry, and free from mould or discoloration of any kind; and ) a standard case previously used for any purpose may, if such case has the words 'not for export' branded on both ends in block capital letters at least three inches in height, be used for the conveyance of eggs from registered premises in an urban area to other premises in the same urban area, or in an urban area which adjoins or is not more than ten miles distant from such first-mentioned urban area. In this paragraph 'urban area' means a county or other borough, an urban district, a town or a village." 5. These Regulations shall come into operation as from the 16th day of October, 1933.
