I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 11 12 13 15 18 19 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 39 40 41 43 44 45 46 47 50 63 of the Employment Permits Act 2024 (No. 17 of 2024), hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2024. 2. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the Employment Permits Regulations 2024 ( S.I No. 444 of 2024 ). 3. These Regulations come into operation on 17 January 2025. 4. Regulation 38(a) of the Principal Regulations is amended— (a) by substituting “€30,000” for “€27,000”, and (b) by substituting “€14.79” for “€13.31”. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 17 December, 2024.
