I, OSSIAN SMYTH, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 26 of 2022) and the Environment, Climate and Communications (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2023 ( S.I. No. 252 of 2023 ), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) (No. 3) Order 2023. 2. The 1st day of July 2023 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022 (No. 26 of 2022) shall come into operation: (a) section 5(2); (b) section 16(b).
