The Government, on the request of the Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Defence) Order 2023. 2. Laura Mannion, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to Peter Burke, Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, with effect from 21 December 2022. 3. Laura Mannion, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Defence, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to Peter Burke, Minister of State at the Department of Defence, with effect from 21 December 2022.
