The Government, on the request of the Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence) Order 2023. 2. Sharon McGowan, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs with effect from 3 April 2023. 3.
