No. 14 of 2023 ), following consultation with the Minister for Social Protection and having regard to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (g) of section 6 (1) of the Sick Leave Act 2022 , hereby make the following order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Sick Leave Act 2022 (Increase of Statutory Sick Leave Days) Order 2024. 2. With effect from 1 January 2024, the number of statutory sick leave days to which an employee is entitled to in a year provided for in section 5 (2) of the Sick Leave Act 2022 (No. 24 of 2022) shall be up to and including 5.
