These Regulations may be cited as the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 2025. 2. These Regulations come into operation on 7 April 2025. 3. In these Regulations “Principal Regulations” means the Employment Permits Regulations 2024 ( S.I. No. 444 of 2024 ). Amendment of Schedule 5 to Principal Regulations 4. Schedule 5 (as amended by Regulation 4 of the Employment Permits (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2025 ( S.I. No. 119 of 2025 )) to the Principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the entry for “HGV/Bus mechanic” the following: Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Maximum number Start date of period during which maximum number shall be granted HGV/Bus mechanic 200 7 April 2025 GIVEN under my Official Seal, 10 April, 2025.
