The Government, on the request of the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth) Order 2024. 2. Noel Byrne, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to Anne Rabbitte, Minister of State at the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, with effect from 10 April 2024.
