S.I. No. 9/1986 - Circuit Court (Alteration of Circuit) Order, 1986. S.I. No. 9 of 1986. CIRCUIT COURT (ALTERATION OF CIRCUIT) ORDER, 1986. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 3 of the Courts Act, 1964 (No. 11 of 1964), and after consultation by the Government, acting through the Minister for Justice, with the President of the Circuit Court and the judge of the Circuit Court permanently assigned to the Western Circuit, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Circuit Court (Alteration of Circuit) Order, 1986. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 14th day of January, 1986. 3. The County Borough of Galway is hereby added to the Western Circuit. 4. Business transacted in the Circuit Court which was initiated before the commencement of this Order and was not completed before such commencement shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in operation when such business was initiated. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 14th day of January, 1986. GARRET FITZGERALD, EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order adds the County Borough of Galway, which was established under section 5 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 , to the Western Circuit of the Circuit Court.
