S.I. No. 8/1934 - Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (Amendment) Order, 1934. STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1934. No. 8. BACON AND PIGS (QUOTA) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1934. I, Séamas O Riain, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (2) of section 2 of the Agricultural Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1933 (No. 26 of 1933), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (Amendment) Order, 1934. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3. Article 3 of the Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (No. 1) Order, 1933 is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say— ) by the substitution in paragraph (b) of the said Article of the figures "26, 369" for the figures "25, 500", and ) by the substitution in paragraph ( ) of the said Article of the figures "1,028" for the figures "1,818."
