I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Veterinary Medicinal Products, Medicated Feed and Fertilisers Regulation Act 2023 (No. 21 of 2023), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Veterinary Medicinal Products, Medicated Feed and Fertilisers Regulation Act 2023 (Part 3) (Commencement) Order 2023. 2. The day appointed as the day on which Part 3 of the Veterinary Medicinal Products, Medicated Feed and Fertilisers Regulation Act 2023 (No. 21 of 2023) comes into operation is 24 July 2023. EXPLANATORY NOTE This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation. These Regulations commence Part 3 of the Veterinary Medicinal Products, Medicated Feed and Fertilisers Regulation Act 2023, which amends the Fertilisers, Feeding Stuffs and Mineral Mixtures Act 1955. These Regulations provide for a National Fertiliser Database, which will include the registers of Fertiliser Economic Operators and Professional Fertiliser End Users and all fertiliser imports and sales data.
