These regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Beef Supply (Returns) Regulations, 1934. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3. In these regulations the expression " the Act " means the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934 (No. 42 of 1934). 4. (1) The return to be furnished under sub-section (1) of section 49 of the act to the Minister for Agriculture by every registered proprietor of registered victualling premises in an appointed area shall be in the Form S.C.S. 9 set forth in the Schedule hereto and shall contain the particulars and details required by the said Form. (2) Every such return shall be in respect of a period of one week beginning on any Monday and ending on the following Saturday, and shall be sent to the Minister by post addressed to the Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Dublin, so as to reach the said Secretary, not later than the Wednesday of the week following the week to which such return relates. 5. Every beef voucher which is presented to and accepted by a registered proprietor of registered victualling premises in an appointed area shall, before being sent to the Minister with the return which such registered proprietor is required to make by the Act and by these regulations, be filled up and completed by such registered proprietor.
