The Present amendment is proposed to ensure that the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009 continues to remain in line with the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar seventy third year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. Short title, extent and commencement - (1) This Act may be called "The Bihar Special Courts (amendment) Act, 2022." (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th day of July, 2018. 2. Amendment in Section-2(e) of Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009 (Bihar Act 5, 2010) - In sub section (e) of Section 2 of the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009 (Bihar Act 5, 2010), for the words and figures "section-13(1)(e)" the words and figures "Section- 13(1)(b)" shall be subsituted. 3.
