Jersey Law 1/1996 HOUSING (AMENDMENT No. 8) (JERSEY) LAW 1996 ____________ A LAW to amend further the Housing (Jersey) Laws 1949 to 1993, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 13th day of DECEMBER 1995 ____________ (Registered on the 19th day of January 1996) ____________ STATES OF JERSEY ____________ The 10th day of October 1995 ____________ T HE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – ARTICLE 1 In paragraph (2) of Article 6 of the Housing (Jersey) Laws 1949 to 1993, 1 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”), for sub-paragraph (c) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph – “(c) any contract for the sale or transfer or any lease, of any land to or by Her Majesty;”. ARTICLE 2 In paragraph (2) of Article 13 of the principal Law 2 for the words “one hundred pounds sterling” there shall be substituted the words “level 3 on the standard scale 3 ”. ARTICLE 3 In paragraph (1) of Article 14 of the principal Law 4 for the words “two hundred pounds” there shall be substituted the words “level 2 on the standard scale 5 ”. ARTICLE 4 (1) This Law may be cited as the Housing (Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Law 1996 and this Law and the principal Law may be cited together as the Housing (Jersey) Laws 1949 to 1996.
