Jersey Law 3/1969 BOY SCOUTS’ ASSOCIATION, JERSEY, INCORPORATED (ALTERATION OF NAME) (JERSEY) ACT, 1969. ____________ AN ACT to change the name of the Boys Scouts’ Association, Jersey, Incorporated, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 10th day of February, 1969. ____________ (Registered on the 14 th day of March, 1969 ). ____________ STATES OF JERSEY. ____________ The 1st day of October, 1968. ____________ W HEREAS the Boy Scouts’ Association, Jersey, was incorporated by Act of the States passed on the 28th day of February, 1952, and sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 23rd day of May, 1952; 1 WHEREAS the States have taken into consideration a Petition addressed to them by the Association that the name of the Association be altered; AND WHEREAS it is deemed proper that the prayer of the said Petition should be granted; T HE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have resolved as follows: - ARTICLE 1 The Boy Scouts’ Association, Jersey, incorporated by Act of the States passed on the 28th day of February, 1952, and sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 23rd day of May, 1952, 2 shall hereafter be known as the Scout Association, Jersey.
