Jersey Law 3/1985 SAFEGUARDING OF WORKERS (AMENDMENT No. 4) (JERSEY) LAW, 1985. ____________ A LAW to amend further the Safeguarding of Workers (Jersey) Law, 1956, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 22nd day of NOVEMBER, 1984. ____________ (Registered on the 25th day of January, 1985). ____________ STATES OF JERSEY. ____________ The 31st day of January, 1984. ____________ T HE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – ARTICLE 1 (1) In paragraph (1) of Article 6 of the Safeguarding of Workers (Jersey) Law, 1956, as amended, 1 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”) for the words “one thousand pounds” and “fifty pounds” there shall be substituted the words “five thousand pounds” and “two hundred pounds” respectively. (2) In Article 7 of the principal Law 2 – (a) in paragraph (1) for the words “fifty pounds” and “ten pounds” there shall be substituted the words “two hundred pounds” and “fifty pounds” respectively; (b) in paragraph (2) for the words “one hundred pounds” there shall be substituted the words “five hundred pounds”.
