Jersey Law 5/1971 POWERS OF ATTORNEY (MODE OF EXECUTION) (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) LAW, 1971. A LAW to amend the Powers of Attorney (Mode of Execution) (Jersey) Law, 1962, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 10th day of FEBRUARY, 1971. ____________ ( Registered on the 19 th day of March , 1971). ____________ STATES OF JERSEY. ____________ The 10th day of November, 1970. ____________ T HE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law : - ARTICLE 1 In sub-paragraph ( b ) of paragraph (2) of Article 1 of the Powers of Attorney (Mode of Execution) (Jersey) Law, 1962 1 – ( a ) for the words “A judge” there shall be substituted the words “A barrister ; a judge” ; and ( b ) after the words “a commissioner authorized to take oaths or affidavits ;” there shall be inserted the words “a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature ;”.
