Jersey Law 7/1955 PARISH RATE (JERSEY) LAW, 1955. ____________ A LAW to authorize the levy of rate in the parishes of the Island for three years, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 6th day of may , 1955. ____________ ( Registered on the 28 th day of May, 1955). ____________ STATES OF JERSEY. ____________ The 17th day of March, 1955. ____________ T HE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law : - ARTICLE 1 A foncier rate and an occupier’s rate are hereby authorized to be made and levied in the parishes of the Island for the years nineteen hundred and fifty-six, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven and nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, in accordance with the provisions of the Parish Rate (Administration) (Jersey) Law, 1946. 1 ARTICLE 2 This Law may be cited as the Parish Rate (Jersey) Law, 1955.
