Jersey Law 9/1974 PARISH RATE (JERSEY) LAW, 1974. ____________ A LAW to authorize the levy of rate in the parishes of the Island for three years, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 21st day of MAY, 1974. ____________ ( Registered on the 14 th day of June, 1974). ____________ STATES OF JERSEY. ____________ The 12th day of February, 1974. ____________ T HE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: - ARTICLE 1 A foncier rate and an occupier’s rate are hereby authorized to be made and levied in the parishes of the Island for the year nineteen hundred and seventy-four, nineteen hundred and seventy-five and nineteen hundred and seventy-six, in accordance with the provisions of the Parish Rate (Administration) (Jersey) Law, 1946, 1 as amended. 2 ARTICLE 2 This Law may be cited as the Parish Rate (Jersey) Law, 1974.
