Emergency Powers and Planning (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law 2006 Arrangement Article 1 Article 1 amended . 51 2 Amendment consequential on the move to ministerial government 51 3 Citation and commencement 51 Emergency Powers and Planning (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law 2006 A LAW to amend further the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990 Adopted by the States 17th January 2006 Sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council 8th March 2006 Registered by the Royal Court 24th March 2006 THE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – 1 Article 1 amended In Article 1 of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990 [1] – (a) in paragraph (1), sub-paragraph (a) shall be deleted; (b) after sub-paragraph (1) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph – “(1A) The President of the Policy and Resources Committee shall be the chairman of the Council.”; (c) at the beginning of paragraph (2) there shall be inserted the words “The Bailiff,”. 2 Amendment consequential on the move to ministerial government In Article 1(1A) for the words “President of the Policy and Resources Committee” there shall be substituted the words “Chief Minister”. 3 Citation and commencement (1) This Law may be cited as the Emergency Powers and Planning (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law 2006. (2) Subject to paragraph (3), this Law shall come into force on the seventh day following its registration.
