Weights and Measures (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 2007 A LAW to amend the Weights and Measures (Jersey) Law 1967. Adopted by the States 26th October 2006 Sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council 21st March 2007 Registered by the Royal Court 30th March 2007 THE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – 1 Article 38 of the Weights and Measures (Jersey) Law 1967 substituted For Article 38 of the Weights and Measures (Jersey) Law 1967 [1] there is substituted the following Article – “38 Construction of Orders Article 11(4) of the Interpretation (Jersey) Law 1954 [2] applies to Orders made under this Law to the same extent as it applies to enactments made after 28th March 2003.”. 2 Citation and commencement (1) This Law may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 2007.
