This amendment law updates Jersey banking rules on registration, conditions, notices, directions, appeals, codes of practice, public statements, investigations, and transfer of deposit-taking business. The Court cannot sanction a transfer scheme unless the transferee is authorised to carry on the deposit-taking business; transfers cannot happen without Court sanction, and the transferee must file 2 copies of the order with the Commission within 10 days unless the Commission allows more time.
