About this statute

This part sets out how a foundation is formed and governed, and what it must keep, file, and display. The States may make Regulations about dissolving foundations, continuing bodies corporate as foundations, continuance outside Jersey, and mergers of foundations. Those Regulations may also create offences and penalties, and allow the Minister, the Commission, and the registrar to exercise or publish certain matters. This Law starts 28 days after registration.
