The Authority licences public service vehicles carrying both seated and standing passengers, subject to construction standard KS 372:2014; licences must show maximum standing passengers and vehicles must display and reconcile passenger numbers in real time; operators must not exceed licensed capacity and face fines or licence suspension/revocation. A person must not drive or operate a public service vehicle fitted with tinted windows or a tinted windscreen.
