Section 11A. Indecent act with adult Section Any person who commits anindecent actwith an adult is guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or a fine not exceeding fifty thousand shillings or to both.[ActNo. 7 of 2007, Sch.]

16A. Sexual communication with achild

Section 16A. Sexual communication with achild Section 16A(1) A person of eighteen years and above who knowingly communicates with achildin— Section 16A(1)(i) a sexual manner; or Section 16A(1)(ii) a manner intended to encourage thechildto communicate in a sexual manner, commits an offence and is liable, on conviction, to a fine of not less than five hundred thousand shillings or imprisonment for a term of not less than five years, or to both. Section 16A(2) For the purposes of this section, a communication is sexual if— Section 16A(2)(a) any part of it relates to sexual activity, or Section 16A(2)(b) a reasonable person would consider any part of the communication to be sexual.
