THE IMMIGRATION LAW (2007 REVISION) THE IMMIGRATION (JANITORIAL SERVICES) DIRECTIONS, 2007 The Immigration (Janitorial Services) Directions, 2007 2 The Immigration (Janitorial Services) Directions, 2007 CAYMAN ISLANDS THE IMMIGRATION LAW (2007 REVISION) THE IMMIGRATION (JANITORIAL SERVICES) DIRECTIONS, 2007 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 of the Immigration Law (2007 Revision), the Governor in Cabinet issues the following policy directions to the Business Staffing Plan Board, the Work Permit Board, the Cayman Brac and Little Cayman Immigration Board and the Chief Immigration Officer for their guidance in the exercise of their powers, duties and functions under that Law - 1. These Directions may be cited as the Immigration (Janitorial Services) Citation Directions, 2007. 2. (1) A Business Staffing Plan Certificate in respect of a business to provide Restrictions re the provision of janitorial janitorial, house-keeping or related services shall be issued subject to the services condition that the holder of the Business Staffing Plan Certificate is restricted to the cleaning of private homes and commercial buildings not including hotels, condominiums or any tourist accommodation. (2) A work permit in respect of a business to provide janitorial, house- keeping or related services shall be granted or renewed, as the case may be, subject to the condition that the holder of the work permit is restricted to the cleaning of private homes and commercial buildings not including hotels, condominiums or any tourist accommodation. (3) The respective restrictions referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2), do not preclude the cleaning of windows, carpets, and upholstery at any location, including hotels, condominiums and any tourist accommodation in the Islands.
