Citation and commencement 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Services (Immunity) Regulations, 2025. (2) These Regulations come into force on 1st January, 2026. 2. Protection from liability 2. (1) A person to whom the Council has delegated its functions under section 5(3) of the Act and the person’s officers, managers, employees and agents shall not be liable for claims in damages, costs, charges or expenses resulting from the discharge or purported discharge of the functions. c SL 47 of 2025 Page 3 Regulation 2 Legal Services (Immunity) Regulations, 2025 (2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to claims, damages, costs, charges or expenses caused by bad faith or wilful misconduct of the person or the officer, manager, employee or agent.
