The particulars needed to be set forth in an application for an import licence under regulation 4(1) in respect of turtle and/or derivatives of Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelys imbricata, Lepidochelys kempi, Lepidochelys olivacea, Caretta caretta, Chelonia depressa, Chelonia Agassizi, Dermochelys coriacea, and hybrids between those species are- (a) name and address of applicant; (b) scientific and common names of species or description of derivatives thereof, to be imported; (c) country of origin of species; (d) purpose for which species or derivatives will be imported; and (e) estimated quantity to be imported. c Revised as at 30th day of June, 1998 Page 5 Section Species Bred in Captivity or Artificially Propagated Notice 2. The particulars needed to be set forth in an application for an export licence under regulation 4(2) in respect of turtle and/or derivatives of Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelys imbricata, Lepidochelys kempi, Lepidochelys olivacea, Caretta caretta, Chelonia depressa, Chelonia agassizi, Dermochelys coriacea, and hybrids between those species are- (a) name and address of applicant; (b) scientific and common names of species or description of derivatives thereof, to be exported; (c) country of origin of species; (d) purpose for which species or derivatives will be exported; and (e) estimated quantity to be exported. 3. The particulars needed to be set forth in an application for certification under regulation 6(1) in respect of all turtles and/or derivatives bred in captivity are- (a) name and address of applicant; (b) scientific and common names of species; (c) description of overall structure of operation; (d) description of breeding facility ; (e) origin, numbers and dates of captive wild breeding stock; (f) number and age (as available) of all breeding stock being raised on the farm; (g) history of second generation offspring produced; and (h) breeding records that are available for inspection and scrutiny. 4. Under regulation 6(3) the Management Authority has certified that within the meaning of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora made in Washington in 1973 the Chelonia Mydas (green sea turtle) is a species of animal being bred in captivity.
