Citation and commencement 1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Government Fees Order, 2025. (2) This Order comes into force on 1st January, 2026. 2. Amendment of Schedule to the Government Fees Act (2016 Revision) - prescribed fees 2. The Schedule to the Government Fees Act (2016 Revision) is amended under the heading “Prescribed Fees” as follows — (a) by repealing paragraphs (a) to (c) in Item 2 and substituting the following paragraphs — “(a) Naturalisation under the British Nationality Act (Adults) (i) Application fee $1,300 (ii) Filing fee (non-refundable) $500 (b) Naturalisation under the British Nationality Act (Spouses of British Overseas Territories Citizens) (i) Application fee $1,300 c SL 59 of 2025 Page 3 Paragraph 2 Government Fees Order, 2025 (ii) Filing fee (non-refundable) $500 (c) Registration under the British Nationality Act (Minors) (i) Application fee $800 (ii) Filing fee (non-refundable) $500”; and (b) by inserting after paragraph (f) in Item 2 the following paragraph — “(g) Registration as a British Citizen filing fee (non-refundable) $300.”.
