These regulations may be cited as the Marine Conservation (Fishing Citation Licences) Regulations. 2. (1) An application for a monthly and an annual fishing licence shall be in Forms Form A and Form B in the Schedule respectively. (2) The monthly and annual fishing licence referred to in section 19 (3) of the Marine Conservation Law (2003 Revision) are set out in Form B and Form C of the Schedule respectively. 3 The Marine Conservation (Fishing Licences) Regulations, 2003 SCHEDULE Form A (Regulation 2(1)) CAYMAN ISLANDS MARINE CONSERVATION LAW (2003 REVISION) APPLICATION FOR A MONTHLY FISHING LICENCE Please complete this application in full, along with two full face ID photographs. If approved you will be notified by the Department of Environment, and may collect your licence from the D.O.E. after paying the $150.00 fee. This fee is non- refundable. SIGNED, Signature Date 7 The Marine Conservation (Fishing Licences) Regulations, 2003 FORM C (Regulation 2 (2)) CAYMAN ISLANDS MARINE CONSERVATION LAW (2003 REVISION) MONTHLY FISHING LICENCE Name: Address: Expiration Date: The above named person is hereby licensed to fish within Cayman Islands Waters while standing on shore, subject to the following conditions: 1. All Marine Conservation Laws shall be obeyed. 2. The use of ‘hook-and-line’ only is permitted. 3. Only fin fish (of the group ‘Pisces’) may be taken. The taking of lobster, conch, turtle, or other protected fin fish species is not permitted. 4. No more than four fish in total may be taken in any one day, and fish must be eight inches or greater in length. 5. The licence holder shall fish for personal consumption only, and shall not indulge in any trade or barter of fish. 6. The licence holder shall keep this licence on his person during any line fishing activity. 7. This licence is not transferable to any other person. 8 The Marine Conservation (Fishing Licences) Regulations, 2003 Violation of any of these conditions shall be cause for revocation of this licence.
