THE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS LAW (2007 REVISION) THE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS ORDER, 2012 The Public Holidays Order, 2012 2 The Public Holidays Order, 2012 CAYMAN ISLANDS THE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS LAW (2007 REVISION) THE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS ORDER, 2012 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the Public Holidays Law (2007 Revision), the Governor in Cabinet makes the following Order - 1. This Order may be cited as the Public Holidays Order, 2012. Citation 2. The Public Holidays Law (2007 Revision) is amended in the Schedule by Amendment of the Schedule to the Public inserting after paragraph 15 the following paragraph - Holidays Law (2007 Revision) - list of Public General Holidays “16. In the year 2012 only, for the purposes of the holding of a referendum on the proposal to introduce an electoral system of single-member constituencies with each elector being entitled to cast only one vote, 18th July shall be a Public General Holiday.”.
