PUBLISHING DETAILS Page 2 Act 24 of 2023 c Appropriation (Financial Years 2024 and 2025) Act, 2023 Section 1 (Act 24 of 2023) CAYMAN ISLANDS I Assent, Jane Owen Governor Date: 28th day of December, 2023 APPROPRIATION (FINANCIAL YEARS 2024 AND 2025) ACT, 2023 (Act 24 of 2023) AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE EXECUTIVE FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEARS 2024 AND 2025 ENACTED by the Legislature of the Cayman Islands. 1. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Financial Years 2024 and 2025) Act, 2023. 2. Appropriation authority 2. The Cabinet may incur executive expenses, acquire executive assets, make equity investments or loans and undertake borrowing for the financial years 2024 and 2025 in the amounts and for the respective purposes set out in the Schedule. Expiration of unused appropriations 3. (1) The appropriations for each financial year shall expire on 31 December, 2025. (2) Where there are any unused appropriations at 31 December 2024, these unused amounts shall not expire and shall be carried forward to the 2025 financial year. c Act 24 of 2023 Page 3 Section 3 Appropriation (Financial Years 2024 and 2025) Act, 2023 (3) Entities may use appropriations approved for the 2025 financial year, to incur executive expenses, acquire executive assets, make equity investments or loans and undertake borrowing in the 2024 financial year.
