THE TRAFFIC LAW, 2011 (LAW 26 OF 2011) THE TRAFFIC (SPEED LIMITS IN GRAND CAYMAN) REGULATIONS, 2016 The Traffic (Speed Limits in Grand Cayman) Regulations, 2016 2 The Traffic (Speed Limits in Grand Cayman) Regulations, 2016 CAYMAN ISLANDS THE TRAFFIC LAW, 2011 (LAW 26 of 2011) THE TRAFFIC (SPEED LIMITS IN GRAND CAYMAN) REGULATIONS, 2016 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111(a) of the Traffic Law, 2011 (Law 26 of 2011), the Cabinet makes the following Regulations - 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Traffic (Speed Limits in Grand Citation and Cayman) Regulations, 2016. commencement (2) These Regulations shall come into force on 7th March, 2016. 2. In these Regulations - Interpretation “grid” means the Cayman National Grid prepared and kept by the Lands and Survey Department; and “grid reference” means a reference point on the grid. 3. (1) The following speed limits are established for the roads and portions of Speed limits roads in Grand Cayman set out in subsections (2) to (6).
