Statute overview

About this statute

This provision is a preamble announcing a Grand-Ducal Order that concerns how certain articles of a law on an extraordinary capital tax are to be carried out. Certain commercial companies must increase the number of shares or units issued at 1 January 1946 by one-twentieth, and the new shares or units are allocated to the State. Certain companies may, by 8 October 1946, offer to settle tax on the basis of their net assets as of 1 January 1946 and must send the offer to the Director of Contributions. After the tax is paid, the company’s board must file a notice with the commercial court registry within one month.
