This is the preamble of a law that modifies the amended law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies. This article repeals the fifth paragraph of Article 2 of the amended law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies. For sociétés anonymes, the capital is divided into shares of equal value; beneficiary securities may also be created, and shares and fractions must be registered or bearer and numbered. Article 3 says Article 37, paragraphs 3 and 4, do not apply to a cooperative company organized as a public limited company. This article replaces the second sentence of article 182 so the share capital rule says it is divided into shares of equal value, with or without a par value indication.
