Statute overview

About this statute

This is the preamble to a Grand-Ducal regulation on apprenticeship promotion aids and bonuses, listing the legal bases and the authorities consulted before enactment. An employer may claim a supplementary apprenticeship promotion aid equal to 12% of the apprenticeship allowance paid to the apprentice, if the apprenticeship meets the stated conditions. The labour minister must publish the annual list of eligible trades and professions. If the apprenticeship year is successfully completed, the employment fund must pay each apprentice an apprenticeship bonus of 1,500 francs per month of apprenticeship. The employment fund grants an additional apprenticeship bonus of 2,400 francs per month of apprenticeship to an apprentice who has passed the apprenticeship year, for occupations with a shortage of apprenticeship candidates.
