Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble introduces the grand-ducal regulation on transfers of nuclear materials, equipment, and technology and their physical protection. No one may transfer nuclear materials, equipment, or nuclear technological data to non-nuclear-weapon countries except for peaceful use. Les exportations de matières et d’équipements nucléaires, ainsi que les transferts de données technologiques nucléaires et de leurs dérivés vers certains États non membres, nécessitent une autorisation préalable du ministre. An authorization may be granted only if specified nuclear materials, equipment, and technology meet listed safety, safeguard, protection, and retransfer conditions. Applications for prior authorization to export nuclear materials/equipment or transfer nuclear technological data must include all required information, be signed by a qualified person, and be sent to the Office des Licences.
