Immunities and Privileges (Clinton Health Access Initiative) Order, 2025

1. Citation This Order may be cited as the Immunities and Privileges (Clinton Health Access Initiative) Order, 2025.

2. Immunities and privileges and legal capacity for CHAI The Alliance for a Clinton Health Access Initiative (hereinafter referred to as “CHAI") being an organization specified in the Fourth Schedule of the Act, shall have all the immunities and privileges set out in Part I of the Fifth Schedule of the Act and shall have all the legal capacities of a body corporate.

3. Immunities and privileges of representatives and staff of CHAI There are hereby conferred upon such persons, not being citizens of, or permanently resident in, Malawi, as CHAI may, in writing, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs designate by name being— (a) representatives of CHAI or holders of such high offices of CHAI as shall be specified in such writing, all the immunities and privileges set out in Part II of the Fifth Schedule of the Act; and (b) officers or servants of CHAI of such class as shall be specified in such writing, all the immunities and privileges set out in Part III of the Fifth Schedule of the Act.
