Saving SCHEDULE 5 LAWS OF MALAYSIA Act 478 REVOCATION OF EXEMPTION FROM PAYMENT OF STAMP DUTIES ACT 1992 An Act to repeal the provisions contained in the Acts and the Ordinance specified in the Schedule which provide for exemption from payment of stamp duties which would otherwise be payable under the Stamp Act 1949. [21 February 1992] BE IT ENACTED by the Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the advice and consent of the Dewan Negara and Dewan Rakyat in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Revocation of Exemption from Payment of Stamp Duties Act 1992. Repeal of provisions in the Acts and the Ordinance specified in the Schedule 2. (1) The provisions in the Acts and the Ordinance specified in the Schedule are repealed. (2) The Minister may, by order to be published in the Gazette, add to the Schedule. 6 Laws of Malaysia ACT 478 Saving 3. The repeal of the provisions in the Acts and the Ordinance under subsection 2(1) shall not affect any instrument executed prior to the date of the coming into force of this Act.
