The provisions of Articles 11 and Article 13 (e)of Law No. 1of 1985 referred to above are hereby replaced by the following: “ Article 11 The importer shall receive animals imported for slaughter during the three days from the date on which they are deposited in veterinary quarantine. In circumstances of necessity, which shall be defined by a resolution of the minister, such period may be extended. Fees shall be payable as consideration of the deposit and shelter of the animals throughout such period. The Minister shall be authorised to amend this Decree. The depositor of animals shall, during the period of their retention in quarantine, be obliged to feed such animals; otherwise the Ministry may feed them at his expense pursuant to the categories and rules defined by the Minister. The importer shall, in situations where the animals are not slaughtered immediately after he has received them, provide shelter for them subject to the control of the Section of Animal Health, and such animals shall only be slaughtered under the supervision of such Section. Article 13 ( e) Determining the fees for depositing and shelteringanimals imported for slaughterin veterinary quarantine, and defining the ways in which payable fees be collected from the importer;” All competent authorities, each within their jurisdiction, shall enforce this law thirty days after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette . --- يستبدل بنصي المادة ( 11 ) والبند (هـ) من المادة ( 13 ) من القانون رقم (1) سنة 1985 المشار إليه، النصان التاليان: مادة (11) : 1- يقوم المستورد بتسلم الحيوانات المستوردة بغرض الذبح خلال ثلاثة أيام من تاريخ إيداعها في محجر بيطري. ويجوز في حالات الضرورة، التي يصدر بتحديدها قرار من الوزير، تجاوز هذه المدة. وتستحق رسوم مقابل إيداع ونفقات إيواء الحيوانات عن هذه المدة. ويفوض الوزير في تعديل هذا المرسوم. ويلتزم مودع الحيوانات بتغذيتها خلال مدة إيداعها بالمحاجر، فإذا قصر في ذلك جاز للوزارة تغذيتها بمصاريف على حسابه، طبقاً للفئات والقواعد التي يحددها الوزير. 2- يجب على المستورد - في حالة عدم ذبح الحيوانات مباشرة بعد تسلمها - توفر أماكن إيواء لها، تكون خاضعة لرقابة قسم الصحة الحيوانية، ولا يتم ذبح هذه الحيوانات إلا تحت إشراف قسم الصحة الحيوانية. مادة (13/هـ) : «تحديد رسوم مقابل إيداع ونفقات إيواء الحيوانات المستوردة بغرض الذبح في المحاجر البيطرية، وتحديد طرق اقتضاء المبالغ المستحقة من المستورد». على جميع الجهات المختصة، كل فيما يخصه، تنفيذ هذا القانون. ويعمل به بعد ثلاثين يوماً من تاريخ نشره في الجريدة الرسمية.
