Statute overview

About this statute

This Order sets out the police regions and districts of Rwanda. Rwanda National Police is composed of five police regions: Central, Southern, Northern, Eastern, and Western. The Police Region is divided into Police districts as shown in the annex to this Order. Police regions and districts must follow the boundaries of Rwanda’s provinces and districts, and the Central Police Region matches Kigali City. Three listed ministers are responsible for implementing the Order, and any prior rules that conflict with it are repealed.
