About this statute

These Regulations set faults and administrative sanctions for reporting persons under the Centre’s supervision. This article defines terms used in the Regulations, including Financial Intelligence Centre, occasional client, and senior manager. A reporting person who does not register within the time set by the Centre’s regulations commits a fault and may be fined up to FRW 10,000,000. A reporting person must notify the Centre in writing of registration changes within 7 working days. A reporting person must designate a reporting staff; failing to do so is a fault and can lead to an administrative fine of FRW 1,000,000.
