Statute overview

About this statute

This article ratifies the amended agreement and makes it fully effective. Four ministers are entrusted with implementing this Order. This Order starts on the date it is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda. The Registrar must arrange the transfer of a convicted person from the Special Court to Rwanda, inform the person before transfer, and handle temporary return transfers if the Special Court orders the person to appear again. A person who has already been tried by the Special Court cannot be tried again before a court of the Government of Rwanda for the same acts.
